Thoughtless Thursday: Cute Thanksgiving Cat Video
I found this really cute Thanksgiving video with a kitten. A Chihuahua looking dog makes a cameo in it, and the end of the video is pretty funny. Unfortunately, Olivia doesn't have a pilgrim costume of her own.

Olivia and her Skateboard (Video) Wordless Wednesday
So here is Olivia riding her skateboard. Right now we are still on the flat ground part of the training, soon we will try out some small hills (and hopefully she'll put her other feet up on the board as she gains momentum)!

Olivia makes a movie
.... sort of. I attached my new GoPro camera that I got as a Christmas gift from my parents, that I wanted so I could wear it on my helmet when I compete on my horse, to Olivia's every day harness with some clip-type mount that came with the camera that I have no idea what its real purpose is.
It worked pretty okay attached to her back but seeing as the clip went on sorta side ways-ish it fell off when she shook the second time (which was after she also slammed the camera on the bottom of three chairs. Thank God for the heavy duty case thing the GoPro mounts with). When we attached it to her chest the clip could probably still come off but seeing as it didn't get shoved upwards it stayed in place (it went on her harness for the chest like a paper clip goes on paper, directionally).
Mostly I did it because I thought it would be funny/fun to see things from Olivia's POV, but also because a family friend said she really would like to see a video from my new camera made by Olivia. She told me about a Kurgo harness that has a mount on it, and it looked really cool, but it got such bad reviews I didn't feel like spending $35 to form my own opinion. So I looked through what I already had and found the clip.
We enjoyed seeing Olivia's perspective and I want to try it more when she doesn't feel it's time for her to go to bed (we went on a 2 mile walk today at the park, so the tiredness is warranted), possibly outside? My dad's worried the GoPro will get broken, but its case seems pretty solid and it's even water proof so I'm not too concerned lol.
On a side note, Olivia got weighed today and she's 18.7 lbs now. I wanted a small Boston... but oh well she is what she is and I love her the same no matter what!
Here's the video (I'm not sure why the quality came out so bad... it looked so much better in iMovie on my computer :/ )

The Amazing Pet Expo: Atlanta
So I've been taking a blog-cation. But here it ends.
Brian (my fiancee), Olivia, and I went to the Amazing Pet Expo: Atlanta on Saturday. We drove 3 hours to get there and we were there when it opened at 10 am. We brought the stroller but Brian insisted on carrying Olivia around.
The East TN Boston Terrier Rescue was there and they loved Olivia. I made a $25 donation for their calendar, which is really well done! The photos are all based on movies and it's so cute :) Especially if you like Boston Terriers BOL.
There was a pet photographer who was taking the photos for free and emailing them to you later on. If you wanted to buy the photos you could once you saw them. Of course, we had Olivia's photo taken.
There were free dog cookies every where you turned, free handouts, flyers, all sorts of free-bees. We got many frisbees and tennis balls, travels bowls, and chap stick, even.
I bought Pet Cakes microwave dog treats, a JackSack poop bag holders, and some misc. other Boston Terrier and doggy items. Olivia also got her nails trimmed for free!
We got to see lots of demos, frisbee, obedience, and agility. It was funny how interested in it Olivia was. We saw Shorty Rossi (Pit Boss) and Hercules. And the biggest celebrity we met was the blogosphere's very own Preston!
Preston is very cute (he was wearing a nice polo) and because we follow his blog we got a PrestonSpeaks frisbee! We chatted with Preston's parents and then later heard Preston's mom talk about how to save money buying stuff for your pets, with an emphasis on traveling. It was really interesting!
We had to stick around until 5 pm for the costume contest and some people took it overboard, check out the photos below to see what I mean!

One more week until graduation!
So last night was Olivia's last puppy class before graduation next week! I'm such a proud mommy! These past five weeks have gone by so fast and I feel like Olivia has really made progress. She was so shy when it started and now she loves another puppy she was once afraid of. She has really come out of her shell in social situations with other dogs. I was so pleased last night when her trainer looked at me and said that Olivia is the smartes Boston Terrier she's ever worked with and that Olivia must have very good blood lines. What a compliment! This week we learned "stay" and "shake (hands)". Olivia picked it up soooo quickly!
Look at these silly puppies playing! (Olivia and
Piper)

Today the Bird Cage, Tomorrow the World!
So my big fluffy cat, Harley, (Olivia's big "Sissy") has always liked to sit on the bottom self of the bird cage (my dad's parrot, Bacchus) and Olivia has enviously tried to get up there since seeing Harley do it, she was not, however, able to until this week. So here she is (you can even see Bacchus)!
