I'm from NJ, so the 1 1/4 inches we received yesterday was enough to be exciting and fun but certainly not "crippling as it was being described as. The great blizzard of 2014 it's being called by some people.
Olivia had never seen snow. She was a bit confused. She did think it tasted good, apparently. She'd stand eating snow off the lawn while holding up her back legs in turn. It was really cute. She did start snorting more than usual when she was breathing which I took as a sign that she was a little bit chilly.
if you look closely you can see her little pink tongue sticking out of her mouth as she licks snow off her nose. |

i was really excited she got to see snow too! I thoguht I'd have to take her on a vacation up north for that to happen, so it was nice to see her get to experience it right here at home :)
DeleteI can't imagine the snorting noise that little Olivia creates. Pretty cool that she was able to experience some snow white this time of the year. I've only experience snow once myself ...it was when we went to Lake Tahoe last year. BEST TIME OF MY LIFE! Thanks for linking up to Thoughtless Thursday. See you next week!
ReplyDeleteOlivia is quite the snorter lol! I thought that Olivia would have to be on vacation to see snow, like you, didn't think it would happen here in SC! lol
DeleteOlivia's jacket is very sweet! I'm glad she enjoyed the snow. I agree, grew up in IL and surprised by the chaos from a couple of inches of snow. Here in southeastern VA we actually got about 10 inches!
ReplyDeletethank you! yeah it does cause a little bit of hysteria lol and you definitely got more than we did! I don't know what she would have done with 10 inches
DeleteOh.My.Goodness. For CUTE! We are just barking with delight at Olivia and her snow day. We are in Wisconsin and just got another 6 inches this morning. Yikes! We are hoping it melts by July. Have fun out there, Olivia!
ReplyDeleteoh boy! that's a lot of snow! We hope it melts sooner than july, for your sake!
DeleteI don't blame Olivia for not liking the cold air in her lungs - maybe you should just bring a big pile snow inside for her to enjoy in comfort ;-)
ReplyDeletehehehe Olivia you look so cute in your red coat ,stay warm cutie,xx Speedy
